Jihane has been immersed in the world of tango for over 18 years. She completed her comprehensive tango education under the guidance of Ziad Kassis and renowned international instructors, including Chicho & Juana, Sabrina & Ruben Veliz, Facundo & Vanesa Villalba, Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, Alejandra Mantinan, Miguel Angel Zotto & Diana Guspero, and Agostina Tarchini, among others. Her passion for tango led her to travel extensively, participating in prestigious international tango festivals worldwide to further refine her skills.
Jihane later transitioned to sharing her expertise by conducting international workshops and performing as a tango instructor and Maestra in partnership with Ziad Kassis. Currently, she leads regular tango classes at Dance Anatomy Studio, where her exceptional teaching skills and insightful guidance have significantly contributed to the progress of her students.
Together with Ziad, Jihane introduced a unique concept in Lebanon called “ELLE Tangueras”, a specialized program dedicated to female tango dancers. The program focuses on key elements such as adornments, style, balance, axis control, as well as “TANGO BAR”.
Jihane started in Partnership with Ziad the first tango fashion store concept in Beirut, known as Tango Closet, further enriching the local tango community. Jihane firmly believes that the key to continuous growth in tango lies in being a lifelong learner, embodying this philosophy throughout her career.
