Founded in 2009 by Murat Elmadağlı and Eşref Tekinalp at their studio (333) in Taksim, Istanbul, IstanbulTango is an institution completely dedicated to Tango. It is a TDSF approved sports club in the Argentine Tango world.
It is also the organizer of “tanGO TO Istanbul”, one of the largest International Tango festivals in the world. With a total of 10 classrooms in Taksim, Kızıltoprak, Bakırköy and Mecidiyeköy, it is unique and one of the largest among the institutions providing only Argentine Tango training in Turkey and Europe.
Their instructors are renowned in the international arena, with TDSF (Turkish Dance Sports Federation) certification.
